need a sword was created by Caelvan (Caelvan)
Hey so some of you guys met my friend who went for full time NPC. Well she loved it so much that she wants to make a character. However she is a little tight on money(as Im sure most of us are) and doesn't think she'll have enough by the next event she can attend for a sword. Is it possible for her to borrow one from logistics for a weekend or two?

The swords, and garb, in Logistics are meant for NPCs - if they are borrowed, the NPCs won't be able to use them.
Your best bet is to ask in the Marketplace forum if someone can make an inexpensive Boffer for the meantime - $20 should get you a good product.

Actually, I fixed up the sword I let you borrow the first time you played Caelvan... Think that would work?

I generally bring at least three or so boffers as backups, so if you're looking for a one-hander, I'd be happy to lend one.

Weapons made using that guide would not pass KR specifications. Specifically, pool noodles are not acceptable padding. If you are going to make your own, please follow the instructions found here: www.knightrealms.com/weapons-a-armor/49-...-boffer-weapons.html

I don't want to make waves, Sean, but I've had a few of my pool noodle boffers be passed by staff here at KR. I don't know if it's because I use packing tape and a fabric cover instead of duct tape to make it more friendly to be hit by, but myself and Shane both have submitted pool noodle boffers to be checked and they all passed.
