I only said one thing when I heard Disney bought out Marvel (for buckets and buckets of money).

Because the Pirates movies didn't have ANY smoking or drinking. Nope. None.
I don't mean to single you out at all, Alex, but this is my comment for all the naysayers.
Disney also owns ABC, ESPN, several publishing companies, and owns Lifetime and A&E with the Hearst Corporation and NBC. Granted, those last two are cringe worthy, but let's face facts. The comic books and movies will remain mostly unchanged, it just allows Disney to make more profit in the future.
Disney may once upon a time have been an evil empire on par with Wal-Mart, but that has begun to change under Bob Iger, especially with John Lasseter as Principle Creative Advisor. News Corp. this ain't.
Especially when you consider who the largest shareholder in Disney is (bonus points if you know who he is), all this really means is that Marvel is in the capable hands of people who know how to sustain a company and properly shepherd their IPs.
Oh, and to anyone who says that Pixar couldn't do a Marvel superhero movie, I offer as examples WALL-E and Up and then challenge you that Pixar can make a movie on ANY subject and have it far exceed the efforts of easily 95% of conventional film makers currently working in the world today. The other 5% work for Legendary Pictures.
EDIT: One more word: Miramax.
Yep, Disney only makes fun, fluffy, animated rugrat babysitters. Nothing mature, ever.
