uhhh. Not quite sure 'bout the reaction pic but it is still quite cute. The tattoo I want would be smaller to midsize wings at my back. The design is complicated so I'd have to redesign it.

the back is a relatively easy place to get a tattoo upon. the skin is thicker than most other places and there are much fewer pain specific nerve endings. especially at the upperback/shoulderblade area

Yes. I actually do Henna, and it's the reason i'll never get perm. tattoos. It takes a bit of time, but you can generally get a weekend and mabye a day out of it. I can personally vouche that it will hold up for at least two nights of intense raving! And I think you sweat far more from raving than larping. (Then again I play casters so I don't know about line fighters.) The powder for it is really cheap, and there are some places that you can also get henna "stamps" to just powder over your skin for quick designs.

BACK TO THE TOPIC OF TATTOOS...
Does anyone here do Henna tattoos? I was hoping maybe for some characters, they would wear/have tattoos for their characters. I like the henna as it can be worn for only a few days (or if you work in an office like mine), worn and then washed immediately off using special soaps and such so the office folks don't get too upset.

I'd have to beg to differ. My shoulder tattoo was the most painful tattoo I've had, and I'm sure at least a few others could attest to it. Everyone that I have ever accompanied to a back tattoo also had the same issue. Just UNDER the shoulder blade however isn't that bad though.

i have a pair of tattered wings on my shoulder blades. took me 4.5 hours to get done. cried halfway through despite my high tolerance of pain. By far the most painful out of all 7 of my tattoos.

I have only one Tatoo... I keep him around the island to help with stuff like letting me know when the next plane of visitors are coming in.
