To my fellow townfolks, I am trying to locate a teacher for both the dwarven and the Sylvan elf languages. I am willing to compensate anyone willing to spend the time with me.

Father Jord,

I am knowledgable in both of these tongues, and will teach you and any other who wishes.

Name your time and place, so that myself, along with others interested in learning these languages, may look over our schedules appropriately.

Father Jord,

I would prefer to meet on Saturday, perhaps around the close of Market Faire, if you are available then. The lessons will take place on the porch of the Dragon's Claw Inn, so that if others wish to learn, we will have adequate space. I have a few commitments that I must see to, but instructing others is always something I am passionate about.

Now, I address this next section to any Citizen of Travance:

As a Loremaster and Chroniclerite, it should be my duty to educate as many as I can on various topics. That being said, I am officially announcing I will be Masterfully Teaching any of the following topics at the time I instruct Father Jord at the April Feast, provided a single individual states that they wish to learn them. If my time runs short because of an overflow of topics, I will arrange for a second time to meet and finish the list.

I will teach all of these free of any charge, but donations are always appreciated, and will serve to help me produce more Manuscripts and Codices. I only ask, if you know you wish to learn these topics, to inform me by taking a note to this posting, so that everyone is aware of what is being taught. Lessons will be taught in the order they are requested.

The topics that can be chosen from are:

The Language of the Royal Elven Kingdom of Quinyaria
The Language of the Elven Kingdom of Selendrias
The Language of the Empire of Darkenspier
The Ancient Language of the Elven Races

The Language of the Kingdom of Kormyre
The Language of the Bedouin Lands
The Language of the Highlands
The Language of the Khitanese Empires

The Language of the Kingdom of Calasvorin
The Ancient Language of the Dwarven Races
The Language of the Hobbits

The Language of the Jaxuarians and Kiterians

The Language of the Empire of Gaaldran

The Study of Arithmetic, Logic, and Rhetoric (Advanced Literacy)

The Lore of Monsters
The Monstrous Lore of Drow
The Monstrous Lore of Undead
The Monstrous Lore of Lycanthropes
The Monstrous Lore of True Warlocks
The Monstrous Lore of Vampires

The Lore of Religion

I invite any who wish to add to this list by offering their own teaching abilities to do so, that way the population of Travance can see more knowledge spread.

In Service,

OOG: Matt Calo - Marshal

I look forward to seeing you at the market and we can talk about the langauges. I am sure we will find other things that talk about many other things.

I would like to add the Monstrous Lore of Demons to the list of things that can be taught. Belegchand, expect to see me there whenever you teach.

To learn the lore of Demons, I firmly believe there are certain protections one must first possess. Without a strong will, one would be helpless to resist the blandishments of demons.

No, Draknar... just "monstrous". Surely even you would have a hard time arguing with that assessment.

I would agree with you, Master Haroldson. Knowledge about daemons can be a most dangerous thing as you are opening your soul to the infernal and they will look for your weaknesses to take you over.

Do'Kanen, I do not consider you a monster, You are a being of honor and have tried to live your life to a noble end.

Also... there is one creature whose weakness I have yet to find after years of my own research. I've tried everything... luring it into spider webs... throwing bread dust in its eye... pitting it against ice vampires... i even followed up on a ridiculous rumor that it was only vulnerable on tuesdays.

Perhaps one of you fine scholars can instruct me, that this beast may finally lose its head and a dear hero of travance can finally rest. I'm looking to learn the monstrous lore of Forest Fires.

I'm sorry, Edwin, but can you please explain to me why knowing more about demons would make you more susceptible to them than not knowing? Knowledge of what is to come typically helps to defend against it, in my experience. Is there something specific about that lore that I am unaware of?

Actually, if someone would be willing to teach the Monstrous Lore of Elementals (or some such thing) I'd love to learn it.

Well, perhaps only learning about the aspects that you can use to gain a tactical advantage, or just the basics of demon identification.

Learning how to fight something, and learning how to control something are two entirely different things. But then again I am not a scholar.
