"Will this be a dry event, or will alcohol be served?  It seems a shame to go to Charlie's for any kind of party and not have a truck full of beer.."

FOIG!

But seriously, it would be a shame to hang out at an oog thing not be able to throw back a few beers... assuming you're of age.

More info is coming very shortly.

As for the social drinking. Its likely that it will be allowed, but im not gonna mess around with bracelets. You guys are responsible adults, just don't "Overdrink" If anyone abuses this, i'm gonna pissed as hell FYI. Obviously we will be diligent to check to make sure ONLY those who can legally throw back a beer or two are doing so.

Please remember this is someone's private home you will be visiting - that should be a good guideline on what is acceptable behavior.

Maybe just say anyone who is seriously intoxicated gets a Rules Violation and is asked to leave the event once they are safely able to.  Also, you might want to re-think the "No wristband" policy.  Even if you don't do the tab wristbands, you can go to Party City and get some cheap paper wristbands for like 20 bucks.  It's a good way of scanning the giant field at Charlie's and seeing who should/shouldn't have a beer in their hands.  Because let's face facts, everytime I see Liam drink a beer I always think he shouldn't be.

Should we mail in payment for the optional build buy or give you $ there, and will there be a means for us to give payment in advance for the next event(s) or should we still mail in a check?

Also, on the drinking front, I strongly suggest there be some form of watching out for underage, but also for anyone who is driving who is tossing back a few too many. Since this is a person's home, we not only have to respect his residence, but also keep in mind that he is ultimately liabel if someone leaves intoxicated and gets hurt. Crazy law, but that's how it works. Be responsible :)
