Rather than wearing the exact same clothes (for all the reasons mentioned), you might consider an accessory that stands out to signify "I am playing (x) character" - like Kate's smashing hat, for example

it's often a good idea to go with some kind of color combo that stays similar... it will help keep the identity of your character in people's minds

Unless you play the kind of character who's identity you don't necessarily WANT kept in people's minds
