Hi, I'm a Mac... and I'm an NPC.

I am very PC friendly, but I have a very old mac right now... and it makes me want to eat children...

I will admit.. mac's are the gold standard for non-linear digital audio&video editing

Myth. Marketing Myth. A properly configured PC will do just as well at a fraction of the cost. The "must have" status among artists comes partially from it being marketed as such and partially from most of them needing someone else to configure the PC for them.

-shrug- vince i leanred photoshop, final cut pro and pro-tools on mac's and then leanred avid and avid lite on PC.. prefer the macs for those things.. aside from that PC ALL THE WAY!
and ambrose.. why does only having an old mac make you want to eat children?.. they are so tender and flavorful you should want to eat them just for their own sake.

James... this entire Mac vs PC debate is all your fault.  If you had hurried up and gotten done with the pictures and not told us why, this thread would never had happened.
