My group threatened not only the Counts trade deals but also the Sultans trade deals. I was told to pick the side I feel would win and support them. I am sure if I send a missive he too would be willing to threaten trade with Coast Haven.

**tacked over a torn-off sheet**

Discuss elsewhere, Moostrav. Final warning.

When the first treaty was signed Friday night, we moved onto the second. The very first words of it were "The Count will surrender" and I stifled my laughter long enough to ask all of them if they personally believed His Grace would agree to that. After they stared at me blankly for a moment, there seemed more a deflection than a genuine response. I can't remember what the rest of that treaty even said, but I suppose it doesn't really matter.

Lady Lois-

Was the initial treaty reviewed by His Grace or any members of the Grand Council? When we met with His Grace prior to going into the meeting with the Empire of Kormyre, he indicated that we were going in to discuss the treaty prior to signing. We were them completely blindsided when we went into the meeting to find out the treaty had been signed by non-nobility prior to the second group even entering to discuss these matters. We weren’t really allowed to ask questions about that first treaty, and when we tried we were berated by the Imperial forces for not knowing and treated as stupid. It was a very disheartening meeting where, if you were not in that first group, you had no say or even knowledge of what we all apparently agreed to.

We attempted to make some suggestions but near all of them were shot down immediately.

I’d suggest, in the future, that treaties that impact all of us either come from the Grand Council, His Grace, or be allowed to be discussed with everyone before only a couple of people agree to them.

Oh, and assassination attempt aside, the Coast Haven delegation meeting was a farce where we were subjected to an hour of insults of our abilities, appearances, and intelligence. Made worse by Cyan attempting to attack one of the delegates.

Cara,

Same warning as Moostrav. Keep the opinions elsewhere. Your post is staying up only because there is actual information sprinkled in.
