Luck isn't just a defense - you can luck an Escape, a Waylay, or even an Assail. It's expensive, but versatile.

I'm trying to imagine the in-game circumstances of a "Luck Waylay" and all I can picture is Curly accidentally cracking Larry in the head with a shovel.

In that case, as a coast havener, I need to get a trinkets with uses of luck for that specific reason.
