Thank you Knobbs for enjoying my bit of snobbish RP.

Highlights:
Playing a healing character. It is a first for me, as some people noticed by my pacing just behind the front lines...I can't stay off the battle, I just can't.
The RP.
Thankfully getting attuned to the Focus the first night. Thank you Rosa.
General highlights.

Lowlights:
Heat
Having issues and leaving early.
Getting sick on monday, this seems to be on a lot of peoples lowlights...was something going around?
Not being in combat.

I think it was either the heat, or a mild stomach bug.  It wasn't the food, as I was feeling it *before* feast.  Still, nothing NEAR as bad as the Great KR Pandemic of Early 2009, which caused about 90% of the game to fall violently ill within 24 hours of getting home.  Several people had a 48-Hour virus (we think there were at least 2 different bugs going around) that didn't set in until they were at the camp, at which point it was too late and everyone else was exposed.  :'(

i completely agree with that! that was absolutely horrible! it wasn't as bad as my first event though! It was like "Hey! welcome to Knight Realms and the world of Larping! the exits are here here and here and if you look above your head an oxygen mask from the light god of your choice will suspend in time of crisis! also, here is your complimentary case of Mono... ENJOY!"

Highlights:
- Seeing some old friends
- Absynthe session and getting slapped in the face with a nice little necromantic terror
-Rping insanity and getting kicked out of a ritual because people thought I was a wild mage...(PS: I'm a healer...)
-Watching the flaming pig from my nice snuggly corner in the inn
- Counting the 2.3 seconds it took Max to get up off his lazy butt and out the door when we both heard the words to a galmanchian ritual start (in his defense, I rolled under one of the tables)
- Getting chased by a NPC Mars around the Inn after I finally had gotten all comfy and was just starting to fall asleep.

Lowlights:
- General case of really bad luck
- Piranas of the air, aka, mosquitos
- Skunk tent

I am feeling a bit more human, even though the temperature kills me.

Highlights

Lead of with the best - Sheryl, you did a great job with feast.  I enjoyed every aspect of it.

All weekend my RP interactions with Alex B. were superb.  I especially enjoyed the brief conversation we had at the bar.  His reaction as a Skeletal Champion to my Greater Wield Faith was superb, taking even his side by surprise as they watched as I walked forward and he retreated enjoying the interplay enough so they did not attack.

Tea with Ming Na.  Not only was it iced, but the tranquility was wonderful.

At the teahouse I had a wonderful, prolonged conversation with Jacqueline Bryck's goblin, as well as the (Captain Jack's) Londwinian.  I had a good time watching him read my MS on Undead.

Teaching Reasearch, Adv. Lit and Teach, as well as the laws of Travance while eating fruit, sitpping tea, and not being attackeds in the heat of the day.  I have a sanding 3-5 pm tea time.

Watching Slack and a new torturer go to work on a Drow.  Its the most animated I've seen Quyags as this character.  You can tell he loved the work.  She was an apt pupil.

Market Faire.

Constantly asking Marybeth when the sorbet would be out, coming exactly then and discovering I was getting one of the last portions.  Eating some of her delicious chicken salad, reserving some, only to find out she ate it.  Who could blame her?

Actually finding common cause with Zahir.

Napping outside the inn after the crush of main mod.  Every 20 seconds someone asking me if I was OK.  Asking someone to ell them I was napping, and they still asked me.  While touched by the concern, the ten minute nap would have touched me more.

Walking up to some lesser skeletons and dissapating them.  The look on some Newb aces who had never seen this done.

Lowpoints
When being robbed, having a physrep lost literally through the cracks.  Chris being a grown up about it and agreeing to pay for its replacement.  Thank you.

My people come from Russia and Poland.  Heat and humidity is not my friend.  Mentioning this to a quilted jacket wearing Derrick, who said something about coming from Savanna and he was just fine.  Two words - one is "you" and the other is not "love."   :)

More later - actually have to do something.

Derrick, who said something about coming from Savanna

Hahahahaha, I'm pretty sure that what Derrick said is that his people come from the savanna...

No, that's not me making a horrible racist joke. Derrick really said that. And if you know Derrick well, that's really not a surprise.  :D

My personal favorite Derrick moment involved all of us fighting some trolls or something around the Inn in Shehawqua when a state park cop rolls around the corner  of the building  and chirps its siren. Everyone freezes in place as the officer steps out of the car , he takes a look around then walks over to Derrick and asks for some ID and says 'People said they heard fighting in the woods'.

A few minutes later the cop leaves and Derrick exclaims. "Not even in the middle of the goddamn woods can a brother catch a break!"

Been a while since I've done one of these...here goes...

High Lights
- Arriving at the site and finding out that we had ample room to sleep all of my friends in one area.
- Having a site close to home so as to save gas money!
- New Celts arriving for my family, sadly some will not be returning to the game, and other new Celts which to groom towards sensibility.
- Having four different people come up to me IG over the course of two hours Saturday morning and saying something to the tune of "You need to do something about your brother Billliamm before I smash his f&$%ing face in." Oh good times.
- Nice walk with the Baron to the lake, it isn't very often I get to talk about idle things IG so it was much appreciated.
-  Great role play with Sam all week end long.
- Market fair was fantastic, It wasn't as big as some of the ones in the immediate past but some of the items were great and delicious. Huzzah for grieves and cheesecake!
- Fighting sword and board all weekend! (See LowLights)
- Feast was absolutely delicious, you warned me how good it was going to be Matt. I never doubted you for a second and you and your mother did nothing but exceed what I expected.
- Late night ganking shift as goblins!!!! So much fun. First we were fed pop tarts and then delicious laZAGna. Go Shiny Turtle Man! My only regret is that we couldn't find the other npcs who were playing drow.
- Summoning a lich as a group of galamachian priests in one of the coolest looking ceremonies I think I've ever seen! From a distance at least. (see lowlights)

Low Lights
- Finding on Saturday morning that about seven of the nine arrows I have have cracked nocks. So, no archery for me, only sword and board.
- Being in an amazingly scary looking ritual and having NO ONE IN TOWN FIND IT ARGH!
- Additionally being too tired to stick around for the lich to wreck house.
- I want to say heat but I spent eight weeks of my summer working in it so it didn't bother me that much. I will say this though, Heat and humidity inside the tents in the morning UGH!

Meh
- Lack of IG activity down at the lake, the OOG was fun, but i was looking for a roleplay swim.
- Lack of IG activity for the two hours leading up to cleanup hold. It kinda sucked looking for teachers and finding only OOG players.

That's it for now if i think of more i'll edit.

I'll agree with that as a "Meh". I scrambled around searching for some clothing that would serve as IG swim attire, and then was a bit disappointed when it all went OOG. On the other hand, certain people wouldn't have been able to swim if it was IG, so I won't complain too much.

LOL. Well.... we saw the city in the distance, and were like, "Is that... Atlantic City?" So we kept driving, but after about 5 minutes we saw the -Welcome To- Sign and turned around to drive for 3 more hours north.

-Still getting used to the rules of the game and such
