I am feeling a bit more human, even though the temperature kills me.
Highlights
Lead of with the best - Sheryl, you did a great job with feast. I enjoyed every aspect of it.
All weekend my RP interactions with Alex B. were superb. I especially enjoyed the brief conversation we had at the bar. His reaction as a Skeletal Champion to my Greater Wield Faith was superb, taking even his side by surprise as they watched as I walked forward and he retreated enjoying the interplay enough so they did not attack.
Tea with Ming Na. Not only was it iced, but the tranquility was wonderful.
At the teahouse I had a wonderful, prolonged conversation with Jacqueline Bryck's goblin, as well as the (Captain Jack's) Londwinian. I had a good time watching him read my MS on Undead.
Teaching Reasearch, Adv. Lit and Teach, as well as the laws of Travance while eating fruit, sitpping tea, and not being attackeds in the heat of the day. I have a sanding 3-5 pm tea time.
Watching Slack and a new torturer go to work on a Drow. Its the most animated I've seen Quyags as this character. You can tell he loved the work. She was an apt pupil.
Market Faire.
Constantly asking Marybeth when the sorbet would be out, coming exactly then and discovering I was getting one of the last portions. Eating some of her delicious chicken salad, reserving some, only to find out she ate it. Who could blame her?
Actually finding common cause with Zahir.
Napping outside the inn after the crush of main mod. Every 20 seconds someone asking me if I was OK. Asking someone to ell them I was napping, and they still asked me. While touched by the concern, the ten minute nap would have touched me more.
Walking up to some lesser skeletons and dissapating them. The look on some Newb aces who had never seen this done.
Lowpoints
When being robbed, having a physrep lost literally through the cracks. Chris being a grown up about it and agreeing to pay for its replacement. Thank you.
My people come from Russia and Poland. Heat and humidity is not my friend. Mentioning this to a quilted jacket wearing Derrick, who said something about coming from Savanna and he was just fine. Two words - one is "you" and the other is not "love."
More later - actually have to do something.

I didn't fully appreciate Goblin Sorel until he saw Rosa, and immediately ran over and promised to protect her. Adorable.

Hahahahaha, I'm pretty sure that what Derrick said is that his people come from the savanna...
No, that's not me making a horrible racist joke. Derrick really said that. And if you know Derrick well, that's really not a surprise.
