July 1-3 Highlights

My entire event was a highlight.  It has been my absolute pleasure writing and running modules and story arcs for Knight Realms and all of it's community.  To see that my albeit sometimes very on-the-fly hard work was appreciated was the greatest reward I could have been given.  So for all the words of the community I thank you for giving me and every other member of our game a reason to write a story for the players to enjoy.

I would like to give a special thank you to Liam for sticking by me through the entire weekend, running around and dedicating the time to helping me keep my head, as well as Mark Bradford, Gene Stern and Matt Magnus for stepping up to help me out.  I want to thank Frank and Maxine for playing wonderful hooks for many of our players, and I would especially like to thank each and every person in attendance who stepped up to the tasks of their NPC shifts, to help make our world come to life.  This is why we do this afterall, it's the story... the living for the Epic Moment that we each want to have.

So thank you all for giving me a place that feels like home.  I look forward to writing for you all again in the future.

Chris, Thank you for running a plot that I know so many players got swept up into.  And for holding yourself back from killing us all. ^u^

A fine event indeed. Combat challenging. Tone was serious. (Except for Liam pretending to be a dive bomber when he was out as Kinslayer. ) Weather was great, until sunday. The food was phenominal! Bravo!

Lowlights:

Mo-skeet-oooohs.  Hate those tiny vampires!

Don't they suck! *rimshot* Still, very tickled to see people using Kwildar's name for them.

-The adorable little Kiterian, Char; besides playing a great character she was able to interact with others easily and confidence.  She would not take no for an answer when she wanted to give Ardin a healing salve because she had to go to bed and she wanted to make sure I had it if I needed it.

It's a shame young lady, if you are reading this, that I did not catch your real name.  You were quite impressive not only to Norm over there, but to myself.

Because of this, Kwildar finished out one of his bigger goals, and will be ready the next time it happens.

-Sunday AM remnants from the early morning storm.  Love the idea of the air elementals.  The best ones I have seen in a long time.  I need to catch up with a few of the players involved.
