Finally, an event where I can go full drow hate!
Friday:
I got babysat by Duncan. Apparently if I tried to attack Don Kellard or his bodyguards it would cause conflict with the kingdom and the barony and potentially genocide. Which was understandable, because the last thing anyone wants is a lot of dead people and a war with the drow patriarchy. But I got babysat, and it was not fun. Until I got drunk, then it was fun.
Saturday:
Got to see some of my closest friends. Rayne, Nostorion, Faila, Caldor, Alander, Pluvious, Namit, and especially Melody. Melody made the event even more special. Such a cute puppy. I could spend all day with her, but I didn't. I had to scout things, which is my job, but it got better because I got to help lead a scouting party, which eventually found the faun. While everyone was concentrated on confusing things like black sorcery and glammor, I was playing Twister(tm) with invisible foot prints. Was actually kind of fun. Then beat goblins and ogres to death with extra anger. And gave into rage for a bit, which was really fun! Then ate some food at Pendarvin, and went to the wedding, where I proceeded to cry my heart out over the death of Calliope, curse out the drow bard and Julius, and almost hit Nalick for getting lost. Then I was dragged in tower, where you don't see two drow witchhunters fight demons by your side that often. It helped reconfirm the fact that branded drow are the only cool drow, especially Sir Cinder. Then came Feast and pre-main mod battle planning, where I got to make my "why drow are evil and should die painfully" speech to my battle group, then went into battle at main mod. I went full drow hate. So much that one of my swords broke. The core shattered. I'm trying to figure that out still. Then I got really tired, scared ghasts away by opening and closing the inn door repeatedly, then went to sleep.
Sunday: I woke up, ate some food, drank some coffee (secret recipe: 1 scoop of hot choco, a little creamer, and some coffee. Stir and let sit for like 30 seconds. Drink it, it is fantastic), and chilled with bros from Ostcliff. Then ate some breakfast, got ready, talked about religion which is weird, and then went outside to do ranger things. Which involved an awesome lesson of druidics with Leif. Bear strength is one of the best lessons to teach, because you can scream yourself hoarse and have a lot of fun doing so. Then finally learned berserker. If anyone saw the lesson I had, it was awesome. It was essentially confirming why I wanted to be a battle rager, then get in some fistfights. Which each one got even more awesome as the lesson went on. It wasn't really a lesson, it was a wrestling match. I'm still really sore from all the piledrives and throws.
Overall, best damn event ever. I want more like this, with even more drow and clowns. And drow clowns. Especially drow clowns, that way I can hit them even harder and more.

Because I got there late, I missed some of the information about the drow plot. I wasn't sure all weekend if Jack was joking or if the polymorph was turning him evil. He made it really hard to tell.
Escorted a drow back to the jail with Imrahil after having to go through an assassin filled forest. Ran the heck away once the torture started, though. Dat empathy.
Met Don Kellard later in the night, got nervous and said “You have nice armor. It's very shiny. I like that.”
This was before I found out how much of a terrifying badass he was.
… Sigh. Thank-you for not killing me, James!
Saturday:
Morning – Set up Drega'Tent. Awesome!
Running into ogres on the way to Kaledonia. Nearly getting wrecked and watching Zathir tank like 3 to 5 at a time. Getting cut off and chased was horrifying, but thank goodness for Mr. Goggins' hookshot!!! My favorite gadget in the game!
I actually arrested someone by myself for the first time, I think... But there was a whole controversy between this goblin chick (great RP btw) and her brother with this whole business of setting scorpions in Alesandria with Bolton.
Doing feast was amazing. THEM TATERS. Butter for days. Thank-you to everyone who helped out. Such speed and efficiency!
I really enjoyed lowbie main mod. All the buffs beforehand made me feel like such a badass, lol. Making sure the harvesters were protected and that the protectors were healed was a full time, exciting job! Seeing Gideon drop into critical was disturbing...
At one point someone shouted that they were looking for Clyden and someone's response was, “Um, Clyden is a bird right now.” The tone was just hilarious in the moment and I laugh even now in remembrance!
Watching Aliester and Billiam brawl was … just wow. Dat sand attack.
Helping tend the Bloody Stump and gather donations and funds for the fight was a dizzying experience. Helped to keep me awake, though, so that I could go to..
Drega'Mod!
Always a fun time trying to decipher Steve's scenarios. A glimpse into the past and rituals desecration. Loving learning more and more about Drega'Mire's biz. Creepy undead were creepy. Somehow it was worse when they DIDN'T attack, instead looming all up in mine and Cale's grills making awful noises. Oh my goodness, that mask with the half melty rot-face. I couldn't EVEN...
Sunday morning jaunt with Jonas was delightful as always... though I do hope he was kidding when he said he set up the kidnapping..............
Arch caster lesson number 2 with Angelica! What a lovely person in game and out! We had such deep conversations, and I learned some in game history that I'd had no idea of before. Such a rich environment, this is! I was really glad for the great, if sometimes distracted, rp!
Meeting Jed at long last! So sorry it was only for like 15 minutes before main mod! He did teach me a short lesson on how to say “no” to things, even if I didn't apply it to what he expected.
Romeo's jester! Too bad he was evil! You were amazing, dude!
Melody was great! What a well behaved dog! She was so darn sweet and good with everyone. I hope to see her again.
Wolf Keavy! I just love it. Our dog/cat greeting was pretty precious, I think! Seeing Melody look so confused when Wolf Keavy introduced herself was priceless. Melody was just licking the mask. I almost died from how adorable it was.
Can't forget a shout out to Caldor, who always looks out for me! Man, that Benediction you gave was helpful!
Having a deep conversation with the cermonialist, Atlax (that may be the wrong name/spelling, I am just awful with names...) a little intimidating at first, but then what a deep conversation we had on theology and ethics... Spiritual advisior is spiritual!
Overall had a lot of good conversations with a lot of people and I can't wait to see you all again!

I don't think I've gone through as many Crafting Points as I did this weekend, especially with getting a couple refreshes. MAKE ALL THE THINGS.
William time was pretty great, including joining the Purple Thistle, and picking up my first Trade skill on any character after 4 years of play. Also Witch Hunter lessons with Marika are always fun.
Winks time started with the wedding. Oh man that wedding...
It started nicely enough. When Winks saw that Ruindol was going to be escorted by Morwenne, but Tobar didn't have anyone to stand with him, he decided to step forward and act as Tobar's best man. The ceremony was good, and then the Hold was called. As one of the few people who had the ability to fight back yet still got taken down, that brought up a lot of emotion in Winks. He tried not to let Tobar out of his sight for like 2 hours after that.
Sir Philadin! Well deserved!
Main Mod for the top characters was nuts. I didn't know until much later that a couple of the assassins had snuck away from us and were attacking the other mods, we had our hands full with the ones who stayed. It was greatly satisfying, however, to say "two can play at this game" when I started using the same skills they were using against them.
See everyone in a week!

-The Ritual of Major Transmutation. I was looking forward to this ritual for a month or two (until I brought this PC back into game). Also, I never saw Steve doing a ritual, so that was a treat to watch. It meant the world to Rowan that her older cousin was there to support her. Everything turned out so well!
-The beautiful wedding of Tobar and Ruindol: great food, lovely decorations, entertainment, good company; all was well! And then comes the Hallowed Song, bringing the death of a legendary bard who Rowan greatly respected and loved dearly. That whole scene was incredible.
-FEAST!: always a highlight for me! Congrats Tim/Sir Philadin!!
-Main Mod: Rowan was so afraid. She was assigned to protect those with the flowers. She didn't know how to fight. However, with the "Alpha Team Beta PBBTH", she got the confidence to kick Drow butt. My favorite part of that evening was when Clytie and I tag-teamed a take-down. The drow lunged at the nyad. She doged the strike and quickly retaliated by raining fire by blade. Rowan jumped behind the drow, stabbing him in the left shoulder over and over until he fell to the ground. WHEW! what a rush! I should also say THANK GOD I saw those black strands creeping up. there was a lot of action during that mod and I loved every single part of it!.
-NPC: I was sent out as one NPC, just one, but by god that was my favorite NPC shift in a long time! Justin, it was an absolute pleasure terrorizing the town with you!
-Sunday morning started off well. Tari and Rowan were telling each other stories and Dominic stopped by for a lesson. All is good, all is good...and then those damned spiders!!! I don't know what we'd do if Alisandria wasn't so awesome and close-by.

~ Seamus's return! Running to him and almost hurting his broken arm before healing it. Welcome back!
~ Maralas's Mass. Angeliana finally speaking during a mass. It was a topic she had a lot to say on so she couldn't keep quiet.
~ Pluvious singing for Maralas. Wow so beautiful and touching. Grim holding Angeliana at the right moment to prevent her from crying. Good timing. Romeo your voice is beautiful, the lights were pretty as well.
~ Small chat with clergy afterwards, Caldor, Maralas and Aldric agreeing with Angeliana about the state of things. She was happy to know she wasn't alone and got the confidence she needed from you.
~ Finally getting some time to chat with Maralas about a lot of things, Mother Quinn also joining. Maralas telling Grim to give us space was funny.
~ Gin Yuki telling Angeliana as long as she is near him nothing will happen to her, then declaring she was his charge.
~ Aella yelling at Ruindol, that was hilarious, and for once Angeliana did not feel compelled to calm down someone who was angry.
~ All of the drinking at the bar, all of the singing at the bar. I raise my mug to you all!
~ Market Faire! I made it! Lunch was good thank you Caldor and Aella! Thank you Unkel Rudolf for a most useful shot of efficiency.
~ Jed... all of it. All but the stench that nearly made me hurl for real.
~ That wedding... telling Albert to pretend to remain paralyzed after I cured him. Finally using cure paralysis... about time.
~ Lord Blackthorne yelling at Grimkjell. Grim refusing his order because his previous orders superseded them.
~ Lesson from Tari. Excellent teaching. Looking forward to more of this.
~ Clergy meeting. Angeliana finally speaking up and doing so loudly and passionately.
~ Announcement at feast and talks afterwards. Support from unexpected people. Appreciated.
~ Protecting younger healers during main mod chaos despite all of the pain Angeliana was feeling. Making sure the knight protector was able to aim his shots undisturbed. Watching him obliterate from distance was cool.
~ Oren... why... oh man... Angeliana waiting for Oren's body to heal itself like he'd shown her that morning. Desperately trying to do everything to bring him back, yelling at people to find physicians, then to find Magnus, then cursing when even Magnus couldn't help. Contemplating dropping her sanctuary to focus on putting his soul back as he released it from his body. All of the people upset at Angel... Getting scolded in the spirit realm by unkel Rudolf. "You're embarrassing me..." Rudolf: "Don't vorry, he von't remember a thing!" Well played. One hell of a focus walk and all of the rp afterwards.
~ Super drunk times with Alander. Celt defense with Croi. Eventually making him admit to being in love and hugging him. He found my weakness later so we're even.
~ That brawl... owwie. Even drunk it was hard to endure. Yay empathy. I lose either way. Had to watch to make sure no one died. A+ brawl oog, cool spectacle. Glad you were both alive after it. Massages to the broken and exhausted Billiam and Aleister.
~ Protecting the monastery in the ass hours of the morning. Paranoia put to good use.
~ Spiders! Did you have your fun Tari? Bored? Let us entertain you by putting you and Dominic into a cocoon and carrying you aways! Rowan, the singing was great even though when you got webbed and realized... oh shit this didn't go as planned as we crawled on away.
~ I'm a Shroom! Sebestien chopping me up goooood and getting poisoned. Nice rp dude!
~ Admitting certain things to Tari and being supported unconditionally. Sister, Angeliana was touched.
~ Lord Aleister's honesty. I expected nothing less. A difficult promise. An understanding.
Thank you for being a part of my life KR family. Can't wait to be amongst you again <3

Lots of good RP this event :)
Friday:
Sleep deprived Keavy wakes from a nightmare only to be yelled at by Aella.
New armor being made by Rudy and chat with Namit.
Drow hunt with other Sylvans...and Alander!
Chat with Ruindol about aggressiveness and possible totem.
Dreadnaught training with Billiam, followed by talking about his background and choosing the path of chaos with Sindarion.
LM shift!
Saturday:
Waking up to ogres or trolls. Then finding out that Calevan's blight was gone.
Finding Glimmermere, or as Keavy calls her "Snowflower", in her glade and freeing her.
Learning about what to do to save the glade
Kaladonia cookout! Our new fire pit is awesome!
Coming into the aftermath of the "Red Wedding: the musical"
Then back to the cookout!
Giving Ruindol, Tris, and Sindarion an impromptu Totem meditaton, which I really enjoyed giving and would love to do more.
Philadin is a knight, yay!!
More Kaladonian hang out time!
Main mod:
"Flower Brigade"
Fixing the glade was fun. Keavy was the only one able to pay attention to see the Glamors that fell into the black sorcery ritual circle, so every time they did, she would go for them. Got my soul harvested twice. First time with a defense. Second without, but luckily Caldor saved me. Then drow beating time as we got the glamor elsewhere for a moment. As the magic figure walled the entrance, Keavy wanted to get a control of the situation somehow.
Being able to scare a dozen Drow just by growling will be one of the only things Keavy will happily brag about!
After getting Ilana and Gideon to get ride of the black sorcery circle, and seeing Alander epically drag the magic figure into staid circle and destroy it!, it was time to put the glamor back into the trees. Even though it was something so small RP wise, it was fun putting them back. It helped Keavy feel better about herself in terms of what her goals are in life.( Druid Elder one day!)
Post main mod shenanigans include:
Drinking a victory drink with Alander
Color changing fire hang out at Kaladonia
Necroblights easily defeated by a slay!
and really awesome conversation with Arden about Good vs Evil vs Balance.
Sunday:
Didn't have much time to stay but hung out with Rudy and others
Then a little bit of time as Wolf!Keavy, getting greetings from Swift and Melody.
Vines and Mushrooms! Then more vines and mushrooms! Then MORE vines and mushrooms!
Cannot wait till WITL! Keavy and Caelvan are finally getting hitched!!

The Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. With all the people hanging around, it sort of felt like a midday main mod, but with food and singing and Romeo and stuff.
Amazing Drow caves! They were so amazing! I can't believe they even exist! Let's do more stuff in them!
DID YOU KNOW THAT 90% OF THINGS IN TRAVANCE AREN'T EXPLODING RIGHT NOW? THAT'S BULL****! BUY GOGGINS! Master Invention = more things exploding = hooray.
Really cool chats with Matt M and Shane were definitely my #1 most favourite thing all weekend. I am in awe of your skills, gents - thanks for sharing them with me.
Being a spider on Sunday morning. It's fun playing things that aren't human-shaped, and spiders are a personal favorite. Stacey facepalming hard when Elias and I followed Alice down the chimney.
The last bit of the Chroniclerite mod series. Even if Dave hadn't been calling lots of Intensify Frustrations on us, I think we'd have been feeling them anyway! Lots of fun, please please please make more mods, please also put more of your riddles into them. Please. Thankyou.
Giving out inventions continues to be lots of fun, I thoroughly recommend it.
The look on Tim's face at feast. Then, about five seconds later, being killed by a bowl of jelly. The tradition of being killed by inanimate objects continues.
