HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

"It's only Friday and we're already fighting Telligrim? Huh. I bet nothing'll come of that."

"Don't attack the Count!"

And after the recent revelations...

"Almighty Visigalis, hear my prayer..."

At sign in:

"Alright, you guys are new, what kind of characters are you thinking of playing?"
(Now this alone is enough to not say at KR, but...)

Three hours later:

"We've decided. Y, Z, and I will be playing Witch Hunters and X here will be playing a bard, who wants to call himself Dion."

"Well...alright. You all have reasonable builds, decent enough backstories. Go on in."

And it would be three years of character development until the Shadowhunter bodyguards explained exactly what kinds of characters they were:

Laurent Belmont– Skill (Periodic), Superior, Attack, Naming
Anchors a target demon so that they cannot fly or use movement skills or use teleportation abilities for the duration of the battle. If the demon defends against the attack in any way, then the Shadow Hunter now swings +4 Damage versus that specific demon and +2 Damage versus all other demons for the remainder of the battle.

Inspirational Storyteller
The Bard has gained such performance excellence that they can inspire great things from the people who listen to them. They gain access to each of the following rank V spellsongs, each of which costs 10 SSP. In addition to the normal casting methods, these may be cast with a story that takes no less than 20 seconds to tell.
Glorify: (Arcane (Bardic), Augment) Perform a ballad, or recite a tale about the true feats of another character and they gain up to of 15 build worth of extra uses of lower list periodic skills that costs 6 or less build and/or career point for the remainder of the period. No character may only benefit from this more than once per period. A Bard may not use this effect on herself.

[strike]Suffice to say, people were inspired when Dion and the Belmonts walked into Travance.[/strike]
