He didn't run away, Solitaire. Do you think I'd have lied?

I've been told there were once .... well, a full set, if you will, but no longer. Apparently this group has something to do with pieces or fragments of a phylactery, of which I have been told twelve to fifteen pieces now exist.

This is not a lot to go on, but I intend to try to look into this information, and would welcome any help in researching this.

Forgive me Talaniel, I did not mean to doubt you or anyone else who has relayed information of what has happened. I let my vindictive side get the better of me, the sapphire chose me for a reason even if it has left me. I will try to refrain from another outburst.
This is admittedly a sore subject for me, last time he was gone and I believed him dead I came to found that he had been carousing Coast Haven for almost the entirety of my life.
I was planning on looking into this already but I think we could do more if we work together, and I invite others to do the same.

As a Bounty Hunter new to Travance, perhaps a fresh perspective may be of some assistance? I don't know Jackdaw in more than passing, but Travance has already welcomed and protected me from a fair share of horrors- I feel obligated to try and begin to return the favor. It's no bounty- but if tracking skills are needed, I'll return to the grounds of the Catacombs and give it my own once over. That is, should Khala be willing to release me for a short while from the position she gave me at her sanctuary.
