If there is one way out, there are likely others. no one leaves themselves only one escape route. That's too far onto "Death Ground" for the subtle.

Astute. Catacombs never have one exit. Of course, with the entrance demolished we need to find the other way out, so that Jackdaw can find his.

This could be as simple as an iron grate, guarded by guardsmen. it need not be destroyed- just access denied to the opposition.

As for finding the other entrances, well we let our opponent do that for us. Every group needs supplies- even the undead led by a lich need a source of new corpses and components to refresh those casting the spells. we let them come out and forage, and let their sightings narrow down the search patterns. the key in what to look for is knowing what our enemy is and what they need.
