To The People of Travance

I am having a tough time fighting old habits and declaring this man an enemy of the people. But the more I read, the more I find his way of thought to be a threat to the safety of others. I understand wanting peace, but to blatantly disregard the logic set before you in hopes that we are in some fantasty world where there will always be a completely peaceable solution is insane as well as dangerous to those around you. While it is all well and good to hope we can find a solution without violence, the realistic thing is that that will not always be the case. There is still a war to be fought, and people will need to answer for their crimes. Whether this man agrees with it or not, the majority of us seem to understand the true severity of what is happening.

I will admit, there are still things I am learning about this place. I hope to be able to protect and serve these people and help save those of the Empire who are in danger from the Duke and his rule. I am proof that not all who were serving understand the full severity of the situation and so fight due to being misled as to what is actually happening. But those who are doing the misleading are the Duke and his Chancellor. They are not ignorant in what they are doing. They are the snakes in the grass that we need to root out and where I think our focus needs to be.

And so I propose that we end this discussion here on these papers now. All it is doing is cluttering up these boards and distracting us from what needs to be done. If he wishes to actually listen to a discussion, then let him. However if he continues to impede, then obviously further measures will need to be taken. But for now, unless someone who has been here longer and has more say than I do, I suggest that we ignore his words instead of feeding the fire. Ignore the words, but be wary of the person. And if he attempts to impede what needs to be done, utilize the laws you have put in place.

But why not let him speak? Maybe he has more information about these true warlocks nobody knows. He also has been through a-lot and he should have a chance to speak, same thing for the Chancellor who is in control, and as this man says not through his own will. If the Doctor has been so close to the Chancellor and knows him so well maybe he has information we need.

He had a chance to speak. He's spoken for several pages now. The speaking part is done. If there is any credence to his claims, however doubtful that may be, we are in the process of finding such a thing out. There is nothing more papers here will accomplish. We can discuss this all in person next feast. Drop. This.
