Don't be ridiculous, Jericho, the tails are considered a delicacy if prepared properly. I have even heard they have alchemical benefits if worked correctly.

I have never heard that rat's tails could have alchemical benefits. I'm most curious to experiment with this now. I have previously used newt tails for recipes before.

....should I save some for you next time I hunt, Selby?
All I can say is when you eat the tail last, it's like slurping up a noodle.

It's a legend that's been passed around for ages, many have written it off as an old wives "tail" (pardon my Chetting, there), but there are startling properties within the tails that have kept people wondering as to their true nature. If you don't believe me, do some background research, If I recall correctly there are even talks of the tails being used in tandem with philosopher's stones and immortality tinctures in the distant past.
