Rather than posting ingredients here, it would be better to make a list to put next to it at the Ball. Not everyone reads the forums, and I highly doubt people will memorize the ingredients for all this wonderful food going into the Ball.

Greetings I shall be bringing Tzatziki ( Cold ) 3lb with assorted breads
Also bringing the following:
Tzatziki
What is it other then yummy ??
Tzatziki is traditionally served as an appetizer and can be left on the table as an accompaniment to foods throughout the meal. The key to great tzatziki is the thick creamy texture that allows it to be eaten alone, as a dip, as a spread, and as a condiment.
Ingredients:
* 16 ounces (2 cups) of thick Greek yogurt
* 4 to 10 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
* 1/2 cup of diced or grated cucumber (Kirby or "English")
* 1 tablespoon of olive oil
* 2 teaspoons of lemon juice

I might be making Krusciki (also known as Polish/Ukrainina bow tie cookies) for a family shindig and might bring those instead of cheesecake depending on if i have time to cook everything I want to cook.

With the number of people we have we probably have at least one person with every common food allergy, plus vegetarians and vegans. It will be rare for each dish to accomodate the entire populace. I know I can think of at least 5 different allergies off the top of my head, and its really not appropriate to ask people to post what they are allergic to here. Its probably better if you list in this post what your dish contains if its a common allergy (nuts, hot pepper, etc) or if its specifically gluten-free or vegetarian.
To contribute to Kristen's comment, I have an additional suggestion that might make it easier.
PLEASE make a small place card with the name of your dish, listing ingredients or anything that might cause issues for anyone with allergies.
When you bring your dish to the ball, you can set up the card next to it.
example, if I was making stew:
Use a tent card next to your dish for the table and include:
[glow=red,2,300]Beef Bourguignon
Main ingredients: Chuck beef, bacon,
carrots, onions, garlic, cognac, red wine,
tomato paste, flour, mushrooms, seasoning
Chef: MaryBeth[/glow]

Please list them AT THE BALL on a card or note - that way, someone doesn't get there, and can't tell what dish is what and what to avoid.
Thank you!
Thank you!
