A Very Knight Realms Independence Day was created by Erim Walker (shiva14b)
So... July event totally falls on Independence Day this year.

Will there be anything special going on at the event to mark this? Fireworks, special foods or leisure activities, anything?

On a related note, does anyone think that being 4th of July weekend will affect attendance at all, either positively or negatively?

Aside from the fact that traffic is going to be a BITCH.

I don't believe there are any official activities that are in the game world for this holiday so I don't know that anything would be officially planned but of course players are welcome to do as they wish within reason. Attendance was definitely less but still in the 70+ mark when we had our last 4th of July event.

We unfortunately have dates that fall on holidays now and again. Overall attendance on these dates seem to drop by less than 5% if even that. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time that July 4th falls on an event.

We'll throw in a special fireworks portal just for you! Just be careful where it leads ;)
