It's a common response when someone asks an In-Game question, Out-Of-Game, like "What class is Max Nimblefoot?" It's one thing to ask a rules question, but the dread "FOIG!" is usually reserved for people who A) have been playing for ages and should know better,
Ask something that posted clearly on the website in the In-Game section already, or C) Ask a question that would lead to serious metagaming issues ("Who plays a Necromancer? I want to learn new spells!").
