When you were describing the smell, did the top of it smell stronger or weaker then the bottom part that touches the ground?

Do you know anyone with any sort of magical abilities that might be able to assist you with removing it? I'm a little concerned about it being touched at all to be honest. Have you seen anything touch it in the time it's been there? Animals, or even throwing a rock or anything at it. Is it only birds that seem to react to it or do any other animals behave oddly around it?
