That does sound very strange. Is the glow at night a steady glow or does it shift in any way? Does it seem to be the stone itself that glows or is there a glow around it? What does the ground around the object look like? Has it been disturbed/ has anything happened to it? Is the stone taller than a tree? If you compared the stone to yourself, how wide is it?

Some letters seem a lot thicker than the others. I'm sure it's not some kind of code but sure seems like it could be.
